When you call, you’ll speak with one of our friendly customer care representatives who will gather some information to make sure we send the right technician to your home. They will ask the right questions in order to determine the type of problem that’s happening. You’ll be able to select the date and time frame for your appointment based on what works best for your schedule.

When Can I Call?

We answer the phones around the clock. If you call after hours, you’ll be directed to our live answering service. If a repair is requested for that same evening, the call will be transferred to the right person so an expert electrician can be dispatched as soon as possible.

What Can I Expect After I Schedule a Service Call?

We’ll call in a day in advance to confirm your appointment and again when the electrician is on the way. You’ll receive a text with a photo of the electrician along with a bio so you know exactly who’ll be working in your home. Your electrician will arrive in an Electric City branded truck and in a branded uniform with a badge for easy identification.

When the electrician arrives at your home, they will listen to your concerns and ask the right questions. They’ll want to know things like the age of your home so they know how to best move forward. Once they have a better idea of possible issues, they can perform a diagnostic test of the system and accurate assessment of the issue. From there, they will provide you with the right options to suit your budget and needs.

Do Repairs Happen the Same Day?

Most of the time, repairs will happen the same day, using parts from our fully-stocked trucks. On occasion though, it is not possible to perform the necessary repair on the same day since some parts are special order or not parts we stock in the truck.
